Welcome

ReIME is a non-profit education and research organization dedicated to improving
ethical long term care and treatment for gender non-conforming children and youth.

We support the right of minors and young people to explore identities, including sexualities and gender that is developmentally appropriate.

We believe the standards of care and treatment protocols for this vulnerable population should be informed by well researched evidence-based best practices for addressing complex developmental and dysphoric issues related to identity and the body on an individualized case by case basis.

We work with a diverse group of multi-specialist clinicians and interdisciplinary scholars in the fields of psychiatry, psychology, endocrinology, sociology and the law.

We gather, educate and provide the public, professionals and policymakers with up to date information for the provision ethical care to gender non-conforming children and youth.

We advocate for evidence-based medicine and ethical practices in the formulation of policies, guidelines and protocols for their care and treatment.
